The Business Center provides permitting and planning services, quality checks and outreach, signs, and client services. Permitting and planning services have been expanded to the Heritage Bay, Immokalee, Orange Blossom, and City of Everglades offices.

House Bill 1059

House Bill 1059 went into effect October 1, 2021 requiring both the applicant and enforcement agency to take certain action within specified time periods related to Single-Family Residential Dwelling and Commercial building permits. Electronic Permit Submittal

The Growth Management Department has now fully transitioned to an electronic permit submittal process for building, zoning, and land use permit applications. Apply for a building, zoning, or land use permit, make electronic payments for fees and citations, and schedule inspections through the portal.
