Zoning Services Section

Zoning Services is responsible for the review and processing of applications for a change in the use of a property such as: rezone petitions, conditional uses, variances, boat dock extensions, and other types of applications related to the how land can be used and the standards for development. Property owners may petition the County for a change to their zoning or development standards. Zoning Services Section provides technical assistance to The Collier County Planning Commission, Historic Archaeological Preservation Board (HAPB) and the Business Center.

The Growth Management Community Development Department has an electronic permit submittal process for building, zoning, and land use permit applications. Apply for a zoning or land use permit and make electronic payments for fees through the GMCD Portal.

What is the Collier County Code of Ordinances (Municode)?

The Collier County Code of Ordinances (Municode) is the nation’s leading publisher of local government codes of ordinances. Collier County uses Municode to publish both the Code of Law and Ordinances adopted by the Board of County Commissioners, and the Land Development Code, which establishes zoning and development regulations governing the use of land and water in the unincorporated areas of Collier County.

What is Planned Unit Development (PUD) Master List?

The Planned Unit Development (PUD) Master List provides a comprehensive list of all properties in Collier County with the PUD zoning designation. The list tracks the amount of residential and non-residential uses allowed and built in each PUD.
