Transportation Engineering
Director: Jay Ahmad, P.E.
The focus of this Division is to maintain safe traffic operations on our County's roads, implement capital improvements for the transportation network and to acquire needed property for capital programs. The Division also realizes Stormwater Management engineering improvements, manages the Collier County beaches (including a Sea Turtle monitoring program), builds new bridges and replaces bridges as required, and is responsible for Transportation Planning.
