Land Acquisition Advisory Committee & Subcommittees
The Conservation Collier Land Acquisition Advisory Committee was established by the Board of County Commissioners in 2003 to create an Active Acquisition List with qualified purchase recommendations consistent with the goals of the Conservation Collier Program.
Nine (9) members are appointed comprising broad and balanced representation of the interests of Collier county citizens. Members serve in the following categories:
- Environmental and Conservation Interests
- Agricultural and Business Interests
- Educational Interests
- General Civic and Citizen Interests
- Terms of Office are three (3) Years

Lands Evaluation and Management Subcommittee
The subcommittee was appointed April 10, 2017 and reviews land management plans, discusses management of the preserves, develops the criteria evaluation process and format for the Initial Criteria Screening Report (ICSR).

Ordinance, Policy and Rules Subcommittee
The subcommittee was appointed April 10, 2017 and assists in developing policy recommendations for the Conservation Collier Program. These recommendations generally result in Resolutions or Ordinance revisions that are approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Outreach Subcommittee
The subcommittee was appointed April 10, 2017 and typical tasks are making Conservation Collier efforts and goals known in the local community. During acquisition phases, this committee selects areas to outreach for acquisition.
