Golden Gate City Economic Development Zone Advisory Board

The Golden Gate City Economic Development Zone Advisory Board was created on November
13, 2018, by Ordinance No. 18-56, for the purpose of advising and assisting the Board of County
Commissioners (BCC) in the establishment, review and enhancement of policies and programs
to attract businesses or industries to the Golden Gate City Economic Development Zone,
reviewing and making recommendations on applications for funding through the Trust Fund, and
any other matters that may be assigned by the BCC. This seven-member advisory board shall be
composed of persons who are residents of Golden Gate City, or who represent business and
commercial interests in the Golden Gate City Economic Development Zone. Initial terms of office
shall be one year for three members, and two years for four members, and thereafter terms shall
be two years.
