Where can I see my current benefits?

To view your current benefits enrollment, go to www.CollierCountyFL.gov/Benefits

You will need to click on the button "Link to Open Enrollment". On the next screen, enter your SS# and password. Once you have logged in, you will be able to see your current elections.

Should you have issues with logging in, click on the "Forgot Password" link to reset it. Or you may call IT service desk at (239)252-8888. Call the Benefits Office if you have questions concerning your current benefits, at (239)252-5214. 

When is Open Enrollment?

When is OPEN ENROLLMENT? How do I make changes?

Changes can be made on-line during Open Enrollment which begins November 1st and ends November 14th of every year. Changes made during this 14 day window,  are effective January 1st of the following year.

Go to www.Collier.gov/benefits, click on the "Link To Open Enrollment" button. Next, enter your SS# and password. If you have issues with logging in, click on the "Forgot Password" link OR call IT service desk at (239)252-8888.

Once you have successfully logged in, you will be able to see your current benefits through out the year. A "Continue to Open Enrollment" button will appear during November 1st  through November 14th in order for you to make any changes you wish to make. 

Call the benefits office at (239)252-5214 should you have additional questions or need clarification.

 

How do I add a Spouse/Child to my insurance Mid-year?

To add a spouse/child to your health insurance mid-year (Or decide to enroll yourself mid-year), you must have a qualifying event. See the list below of qualifying events and submit proof and completed enrollment change forms to the benefits office within 30 days of the event.

What is considered a qualifying event?

  • You got married or divorced
  • Gave birth or adopted a child
  • Your spouse/child gained or lost employment/insurance through their new/current employer
  • You, spouse or child gained or lost FL Medicaid/Healthy Kids/KidCare coverage

Where can you obtain the change forms? You can find the forms on the benefits website, www.Collier.gov/benefits, then click on the "Benefits Forms" button. If you are enrolling for the first time due to a qualifying event, OR are changing from Single coverage to family or vice versa, call the benefits office at (239)252-5214 as there is an additional rates form that must be sent to you for signature.
