Sunflower Weekend Viewing Dates
Collier County, Florida
October 8 through October 12, 2025
Collier County’s Conservation Collier Program announces a special sunflower viewing at the Pepper Ranch Preserve located at 6315 Pepper Rd, Immokalee, Florida, from October 8 through October 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The weekend is scheduled to coincide with the annual blooming display of the Southeastern Sunflowers (Helianthus agrestis). Current conditions indicate there will be a notable bloom this year.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the historical 2,600+ acre ranch and will be allowed to drive their personal vehicles through the preserve to the fields where the sunflowers are scheduled to bloom. The main road to the sunflowers is not paved; low-profile vehicles are not recommended.
A free timed-entry ticket will be required for sunset viewing on Wednesday, October 8, at 5:00 p.m. and for visits on October 10 through October 12 to help manage parking at the preserve. Registration opens Monday, September 22, at 9:00 a.m. at https://tinyurl.com/PepperRanchSunflowers. The last entry time is 2:00 p.m. Each ticket is valid for one vehicle and covers all passengers inside.
No timed entry ticket will be required for the self-guided viewing days on Wednesday, October 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Thursday, October 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
