Submittal Requirements
The submittal items below must have documents submitted for review as required by the scope of work. If applicable, plans must be signed and sealed.
Application Form: Building Permit Application
Electrical Plans: Plans showing scope of work, signed and sealed, if applicable.
Service Change: Load calculations and electrical riser diagram showing existing and new. If the service change is greater than 600 amps, a Florida Registered Electrical Engineer must seal drawings.
Temporary Power Pole: A of the riser diagram with class 6 or 7 pole for overhead and description of use (i.e. construction, irrigation, etc).
Low Voltage: A floor plan with device location, legend, and type of cable to be used with CM or CL rating.
Generator: An electrical riser diagram showing existing and new, amperage rating of transfer switch, size of generator, and applicable load calculations. If service change is greater than 600 amps, a Florida Registered Electrical Engineer must seal drawings.
Additional Submittal Requirements
Site Planning Document: Generator installations: Site plan showing size, location, setbacks and dimensions of the generator and the concrete pad.
Private Provider Package: Required if a Private Provider is performing inspections or plan review.
Owner-Builder Affidavit: For owners of property when acting as their own contractor and providing direct, onsite supervision themselves of all work not performed by licensed contractors. Document must be signed in person and notarized by Collier County Growth Management staff.
