Submittal Requirements

The submittal items below must have documents submitted for review as required by the scope of work. If applicable, plans must be signed and sealed.

  • Gas Plans with Floor Plan: Plans showing the scope of work.

  • Tank specific plans:

  1. Specify above-ground or underground
  2. The manufacturer's specification for type of tank being installed. Is it interchangeable or noninterchangeable?
  3. Tie down detail, signed and sealed, to the current building code in effect
  4. Burial Depth showing cathodic protection location
  5. List all clearances for the tank

  • Gas Piping specific plans:

  1. A plan showing the BTU rating of each appliance served, the type of pipe to be used, the size and length of pipe to each appliance, the layout, demand load, inlet pressure, and pressure drop.
  • Site Planning Document: Site Plan showing size, location, setbacks and dimensions. Must show the house, driveway, property lines and easements. If for a tank, note above or below ground.
  • Additional Submittal Requirements

Additional submittal items and documents may be required based on information provided and scope of work.

  • Owner-Builder Application:(PDF, 4MB) For owners of property when acting as their own contractor and providing direct, onsite supervision themselves of all work not performed by licensed contractors. Document must be signed in person and notarized by Collier County Growth Management staff.
