Self Issuing Permit

If all criteria are met, this is a self-issuing permit on the portal. If not, the permit will go through the traditional permitting process. Additional documents may be required. Criteria for Permit Review:

  • If not security only (permit will be cancelled and an application for an Electrical Permit must be submitted)

  • If owner-builder

Submittal Requirements

All submittal requirements must have documents completed and submitted for review by the scope of work.

  • If owner–builder: an Owner-Builder Affidavit:(PDF, 468KB) For owners of property when acting as their own contractor and providing direct, onsite supervision themselves of all work not performed by licensed contractors. Document must be signed in person and notarized by Collier County Growth Management staff.
