The Collier County Community Planning & Resiliency Division staff will convene a meeting of the Floodplain Management Planning Committee Working Group on Tuesday, August 4, at 9:00 a.m. to support the update of the Collier County Floodplain Management Plan. The meeting will be held at the Collier County Growth Management Community Development Department Offices, Conference Room 609/610, 2800 Horseshoe Drive N, Naples, Florida.

This Working Group meeting will bring together key stakeholders, County staff, and the County’s design consultants to collaborate on the planning process. The session will focus on reviewing existing conditions, identifying flood risks and vulnerabilities, and discussing strategies to reduce flood impacts throughout Collier County. This meeting is part of an ongoing series of Working Group sessions that will occur throughout the planning process. The feedback collected will play a key role in shaping the updated Floodplain Management Plan.

Two or more members of the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) may be present and participate at this meeting. The subject matter of this meeting may be an item for discussion and action at a future BCC meeting.
