Collier County has partnered with OpenGov to a fully automated, web-based electronic bidding and vendor management system. Our e-Procurement Portal will allow interested parties to do the following:

  • Register to bid and receive notifications of future opportunities in the e-Procurement Portal by selecting Subscribe to create an account.

  • Follow updates to existing solicitations by finding the solicitation and clicking the Follow button. This will allow all interested parties to receive amendments and addenda automatically.

  • Submit questions and receive answers for open solicitations.

  • Guide vendors through the process of responding electronically to RFPs, bids, etc. to ensure submissions have been accurately completed.

  • Ultimately, be your one location for all bid opportunities issued by the County.

To get started, sign up to OpenGov. You’ll receive an email to activate your account. Registration is 100% free for vendors!

Guide to Doing Business with Collier County

Vendor Communication Plan

Procurement is taking a strategic and intentional approach at targeting industries and trades that are vital to the County. The Communication Plan will provide vendors the opportunity to participate in a open forum. Events will be include roundtable forums to obtain feedback from the vendor/supplier community on topics around ongoing challenges, corporate goals, plans, priorities (and how those vendors can best support those areas), and methods to increase and improve innovation, while reducing cost drivers.

 

The Sourcing Forecast

A quarterly sourcing forecast of expected contract opportunities for each fiscal year to alert the public of upcoming County procurements. The anticipated sourcing, included in the forecasts, are listed they may be viewed by members of the public, industry, and government officials.

 

E-Verify

By registering as a vendor, submitting a response to a solicitation, or entering into a contract,including accepting a Purchase Order, you are obligated to comply with the provisions of Section 448.095, Fla. Stat., "Employment Eligibility". Further, by your registration as a vendor, response to a solicitation, entering into a contract,including accepting a Purchase Order, you affirm and represent that you are registered with the E-Verify system and are using same, and will continue to use same as required by Section 448.095, F.S. Compliance with Section 448.095 includes, but is not limited to, utilization of the E-Verify System to verify the work authorization status of all newly hired employees, and requiring all subcontractors to provide an affidavit attesting that the subcontractor does not employ, contract with, or subcontract with, an unauthorized alien.
