SWFL Family Back To School Expo 2026
Free Community Event Features Family Fun, Community Resources, and a Celebration of Collier Area Transit’s (CAT) 25th Anniversary
Collier County Parks & Recreation, in partnership with Collier Area Transit (CAT) and Southwest Florida Family, invites families to kick off the new school year at the Back To School Expo 2026 on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the North Collier Regional Park Rec Plex, 15000 Livingston Road, Naples, Florida.
One of Southwest Florida's favorite annual family events, this year's Back To School Expo will also recognize Collier Area Transit's 25th Anniversary of providing safe, reliable, and accessible public transportation throughout Collier County. The event brings together local schools, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, camps, sports leagues, and community organizations to provide families with the information, services, and resources they need for a successful school year, all in one convenient location.
The event features free family-friendly activities and entertainment, including:
First responder vehicles and public safety displays
Bounce houses
Meet-and-greet opportunities with Captain America and Moana
Special appearances by Swampie from the Florida Everblades and Mussel Man from the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels
A sensory-friendly trailer
Food trucks
Giveaways
Hands-on activities for children and families
Whether families are searching for educational opportunities, after-school programs, youth sports, health resources, or community services, the Back To School Expo offers something for everyone.
