Collier County Domestic Animal Services and DASH Partner for Community Celebration During Petco Love Florida Mega Adoption Event

Saturday, June 20, 2026
12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Collier County Domestic Animal Services (DAS) will partner with DASH to host a family-friendly community event on Saturday, June 20, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., in celebration of the Petco Love Florida Mega Adoption Event.

The Petco Love Florida Mega Adoption Event is a statewide initiative designed to increase pet adoptions and connect shelter animals with forever families. Domestic Animal Services encourages residents to visit the shelter, meet adoptable pets, and take part in the festivities.

As part of the Petco Love Florida Mega Adoption Event, all adoption fees at Domestic Animal Services will be waived, giving prospective pet owners an opportunity to welcome a new companion into their homes at no cost.

The event will feature a Kona Shaved Ice food truck, yard games, face painting, and activities for visitors of all ages while supporting pet adoption efforts throughout the community. The on-site event will be sponsored by DASH, Domestic Animal Service Heroes.

“This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy a fun afternoon while helping shelter pets find loving homes,” said Grace Angel, Operations Manager of Domestic Animal Services. “We are grateful to DASH for their partnership and support of animal welfare in Collier County.”
