Collier County Domestic Animal Services Announces Fee-Waived Dog Adoptions in Celebration of National Rescue Dog Day
In celebration of National Rescue Dog Day on May 20, Collier County Domestic Animal Services is hosting a fee-waived adoption event for all shelter dogs from May 21 through May 24.
This special event is designed to help more dogs find loving homes while bringing awareness to the importance of pet adoption and rescue. Adult dogs and puppies of all sizes, breeds, and personalities will be available for adoption during the promotion.
“Our shelter is full of amazing dogs ready for another chance,” said Grace Angel, Operations Manager of Domestic Animal Services. “National Rescue Dog Day is the perfect opportunity to encourage our community to open their hearts and homes to a shelter dog in need.”
All adopted dogs will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and medically evaluated prior to going home. Adoption counselors will also be available to help match families with the right pet and provide resources for a successful transition.
Community members are encouraged to visit early, as available dogs are adopted on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Adoption Fee: Waived for all shelter dogs
