Pepper Ranch Preserve Sunflower Weekend Viewing Dates

October 2-4 and October 9-11, 2026

Collier County’s Conservation Collier Program announces a special sunflower viewing at the Pepper Ranch Preserve October 2–4 and October 9- 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; sunset viewings will be on October 3 and October 10 from 5:30 to 8:00 pm.  The weekend viewings are scheduled to coincide with the annual blooming display of the Southeastern sunflowers (Helianthus agrestis).  Current conditions indicate there will be notable blooms this year.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the historical 2600 acre ranch and will be allowed to drive their personal vehicles through the preserve to the fields where the sunflowers are scheduled to bloom. The main road to the sunflowers is not paved; low-profile vehicles are not recommended.

A free timed entry ticket will be required for each vehicle entering the preserve.  Register at https://pepperranchsunflowers.eventbrite.com. Last entry time is 2:00 p.m. for daytime viewing. One ticket per vehicle. The ticket will cover all passengers within the vehicle.
