Collier County Public Utilities Enhances Customer Service with NotifyNow

Staying informed about water service updates has just become easier for Collier County Public Utilities customers. NotifyNow is the new customer notification service that launched on March 3. It will keep customers updated with important information about their water service straight to their cell phone or email.  Click on  NotifyNow to access webpage

Starting January 2, 2025, Collier County Public Utilities will be required to pass along the credit card convenience fee to customers of 2.5% of the total cost of the utility bill will be added for customers who pay with a debit or credit card. If you prefer to avoid the credit card processing fee, then you may set up Auto Pay with ACH payment from your bank account (routing number and account number will be required for enrollment). To enroll in ACH visit our website Collier.gov/Paywater.

Services and Forms

Buy And Sell Property

Collier County Public Utilities water and sewer accounts are set up in the name of the property owner. Therefore, transfer of ownership will be completed upon submission of one of the following documents and completed New Customer Form

  • Page one of ALTA/Settlement Statement/HUD1 along with fully executed signature page reflecting both buyer and seller signatures
  • Recorded Warranty Deed (recorded by Collier County Clerk of Court at top of page)
  • Certificate of Title with a stamp
  • Closing Disclosure with both Buyer and Seller signature pages.

Lien Search

Collier County Public Utilities has partnered with Orange Data, LLC to process estoppel searches/requests (or lien requests) from title companies, closing agents and others obtaining information about outstanding debt owed to the utility. The County will no longer respond to estoppel requests.

Garbage/Recycling

To report a missed garbage or recycling collection, to request additional garbage and recycling containers or if your garbage or recycle container is damaged or lost, please call customer service at 239-252-2380.

There will be no collection services of any kind -- garbage, recycling, bulky items or yard waste -- on the following holidays:

  • Fourth of July
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

If your regular collection day falls on any of these holidays, collection will be made on your next regularly-scheduled collection day. There are no makeup days. Customer service phone lines are closed on the above holidays.

Regular collection services will occur on all other holidays (for example, Memorial Day, Labor Day, New Year’s Day). Customer service phone lines are open on all other holidays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 239-252-2380.

Collier County Water-Sewer District – SMS Privacy Policy

Collier County Water-Sewer District respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information related to transactional text message communications.

1. Purpose of Messages By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive automated transactional text messages related to your utility account. These may include billing reminders, payment confirmations, service updates, outage notifications, and other account-related information. Message frequency may vary but typically will not exceed 5 messages per month. Standard text messaging and data rates may apply.

2. Information We Collect We collect your mobile phone number and limited account details necessary to send relevant transactional communications. We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile number to third parties.

Collier County is subject to the limits of Ch. 119, Fla. Stat., Florida’s Public Records law, and your telephone number may be subject to disclosure in compliance with Florida law.

3. Data Use and Protection Your phone number is used solely for the purpose of delivering County-authorized messages. We maintain proper administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.

4. Opt-Out Instructions You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, reply HELP or contact Collier County Water-Sewer Utility Customer Service at utilitybill@collier.gov or 239-252-2380.

5. Updates to This Policy This policy may be updated periodically. The most current version will be available on the Collier County Water-Sewer Utility website.

To enroll in bank draft, please create an online user profile and set up auto pay using your checking or savings.

Credit Adjustment

Request a possible adjustment by submitting a request to Credit Adjustment Request Form please include the required supporting documentation below:

Request must be received within 30 days of the date that the high read is posted to the account.

If Repaired by:

  • Vendor: (i.e. plumber, pool company, etc.) Detailed repair invoice must be included with repair date, service address, and description of repair.
  • Customer: Repair made with parts on hand or receipt for parts purchased must be included.
