Real Property Management
Real Estate Appraising
Florida Statutes require that all real estate and interests be appraised by an independent appraiser prior to being purchased by Collier County. Real estate valued $2,500,000 or greater requires two appraisals prepared by independent appraisers. Please note that for appraisals related to Conservation Collier, please see their website for more details.
The Board of County Commissioners can waive the requirement for an independent appraisal on real estate valued less than $1 million. When waived, the staff real estate appraiser will prepare an appraisal.
Property, Leasing, Sales, and Acquisition
Real estate brokers or individual owners with parcels of 50 acres or larger for sale are encouraged to email the county with details. Collier County may be interested in purchasing these properties for governmental use.
