Pine Ridge Road Corridor Improvements Project 60 Percent Design Plans

Public Information Meeting

June 18, 2026

5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Collier County Transportation Management Services Department staff are planning an open-house style public information meeting on Thursday, June 18, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the Pine Ridge Road Corridor Improvements Project 60 Percent Design Plans. The meeting will be held at North Collier Regional Park, Exhibit Hall, Room A, 15000 Livingston Road, Naples, FL 34109.  Residents, business representatives and visitors are welcome to stop by to review the project displays and talk one-on-one with county staff and the county’s design consultants. There will not be a formal presentation.

The project is located along Pine Ridge Road from Livingston Road to Lawson Way (Project area map at the end of this news release.) The proposed improvements will help relieve congestion, improve safety, and accommodate future traffic demands within the area.

An intersection improvement called a “jughandle” is proposed for the intersection of Pine Ridge Road and Livingston Road. The jughandle removes the left turn movements of Livingston Road and the eastbound right turn movement of Pine Ridge Road from the main intersection and diverts the traffic onto the jughandle. The removal of these turning movements from the main intersection increases overall intersection efficiency by providing more signal “green” time for Pine Ridge Road movements. Additional aspects of the project include a second left turn lane from Kramer Drive to Pine Ridge Road, a Livingston Road left turn lane into Meridian Plaza, extended turning lanes, and providing a sidewalk connection from Whippoorwill Lane to Lawson Way.

As an alternative to attending the meeting in person, the meeting displays and handouts will be posted on the county’s website at Transportation Engineering Projects | Collier County, FL by June 19, 2026. Public input is very important, and we encourage you to share your comments. Comment forms will be available at the public information meeting or comments may be emailed to TECM@ colliercountyfl.gov. The public comment period will end July 2, 2026, two weeks after the public meeting.

One or more members of the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) may be present and participate at this meeting. The subject matter of this meeting may be an item for discussion and action at a future BCC meeting.
