How to Resolve Conditions

Blower Door

  • To resolve the Blower Door condition, upload the results to the portal under conditions. 

 

Compaction Test

  • A signed and sealed Compaction report, which includes the Permit Number, is required prior to a CO (Certificate of Occupancy) being issued.
  • To resolve the Compaction Test condition, upload report to the portal under conditions.

 

Spot Survey

  • Obtain a Survey from a certified land surveyor.
  • Upload signed survey to the condition on the portal.
    • Original hard copy Surveys should be submitted in person at the Front Zoning Desk and must contain a raised seal or wet signature.
  • A Survey without a raised/wet or digital seal may be used to resolve a Spot Survey Inspection Hold condition. We will need a signed Survey to resolve any Spot Survey CO Hold conditions.
  • Pool permits with an inspection hold may have the Spot Survey Inspection Hold resolved if a screen enclosure permit has been issued on the property.

Elevation Certificate

  • To resolve either the Under Construction or Finish Construction Elevation Certificate conditions, obtain an Elevation Certificate from a Florida licensed Surveyor or Mapper.
  • Submit/upload digitally signed and certified Under Construction and/or Finished Construction Elevation Certificates to GMD permit portal. 
  • Additional information regarding elevation certificate requirements is provided at Collier County Bulletin #21: Survey & Elevation Certificate Requirements.

Note:  Inspections can be scheduled if Elevation Certificate conditions are still open.

 

Non-Conversion Agreement

  • To resolve the Non-Conversion Agreement condition, the Owner of record needs to complete Non-Conversion Agreement form, get it notarized, and then record the notarized Non-Conversion Agreement form with the Collier County Clerk of Courts office.
  • Submit/upload a copy of the recorded Non-Conversion Agreement to GMD permit portal.

 

V-Zone Design Certificate

  • To resolve the V-Zone condition, obtain a V-Zone Design Certificate from a Florida licensed design professional (i.e. Florida registered professional engineer or architect authorized by law to certify structural designs).
  • Submit/upload digitally signed and certified V-Zone Design Certificate to GMD permit portal.

Note: Inspections can be scheduled if V-Zone Certificate conditions are open.

 

Notice of Commencement

  • To resolve the Notice of Commencement condition, upload the recorded NOC to the portal.

 

Permit Extension or Cancellation

 

Private Provider

  • To resolve Private Provider condition, upload completed certificate of compliance package to the portal.

 

Threshold

  • A signed and sealed Certificate of Compliance letter and inspection report(s) from the Threshold Engineer are required prior to a CO (Certificate of Occupancy) being issued.  
  • To resolve the Threshold condition, upload the certificate of compliance letter to the portal.
