Notice of Application for Assistance

Pursuant to federal regulations governing Collier County Community & Human Services and 24 CFR 92.356 regarding Conflict of Interest, County employees who participate in an eligible housing strategy administered by the Division must be publicly disclosed.

The public is hereby notified of the following:

• The County employee herein has submitted a request for funding through the normal submission process and has been determined eligible for funding consideration. Eligibility was based upon household income, household size, and grant eligibility. The County employee is eligible to receive the same benefits available to eligible non-County-related persons.
• Ms. Oilemys Ruiz has applied for assistance through one or more eligible County Housing Assistance programs.
• The Assistant County Attorney and the Collier County Commission on Ethics offered an official opinion that the applicant’s participation in the HOME and SHIP Grant Programs was not a conflict of interest and did not violate State or Local law.
